GRADING
Minor Grades are 40% of your total quarter grade, and come from Professionalism. You start with a 100 each week and unprofessional behavior is deducted from your grade, typically 10 points for each display. There will be at least 6 Minor Grades issued each quarter, but often more than that since you get one each week.
Major Grades are 60% of your total quarter grade, and come from any assignment you do for the class. Major Grades will be taken every couple weeks, and will be based on the progress you have made on assignments since the last grading time. If you aren't sure what you should be working on, please ask the teacher. There will be at least 3 Major Grades issued each quarter.
CTE testing days are Fridays this year. But you will not have any test or homework for this class; only in class assignments and long term projects that will also be finished in class.
The Semester and Final Exams are your Portfolio of work. Please see the Portfolio tab on the left of this page for information on how to put together your Portfolio.
