OVERVIEW
This site exists to advertise student achievements and to provide a resource for students as they complete their class assignments. Follow the links on the left side of the page to access resources for each class. As a student, in this process you will have the opportunity to develop and obtain:
- a high school graduation ENDORSEMENT,
- a PORTFOLIO of your work,
- a professional CERTIFICATE,
- substantive KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS,
- a fledgling NETWORK of industry peers and mentors,
all of which will help you with future employers and college admissions officers to help you move further in your career.

all of which will help you with future employers and college admissions officers to help you move further in your career.
In your career, these are the two main positions you will have:
THE DRAFTER:
The projects you will receive here will begin with a simple, introductory look at the domain you are wanting to learn about. They will grow increasingly complex and more in depth in order to progress your understanding of the chosen domain. In these exercises you will attempt to copy professional work in order to understand how that work was accomplished. These assignments will take you step-by-step as you learn. The end goal is that you get bored being told every step, because you have gained a full understanding of what to do. At that point you can progress to the Designer path.
THE DESIGNER:
In this section you will receive no further tutorial lessons from us but will be presented with design projects that will cause you to apply what you have learned in the drafting phase. You can still ask for help when you get stuck, but this phase is only for those that have mastered the drafter path. Be warned, you will be expected to figure out how to solve problems on your own, based on the knowledge and skills you gained as a Drafter.
If we consolidated all 4 years of our class time to consecutive work days, then it would be equivalent to doing a 21 week internship at a professional firm, and only 3.5 work weeks per year. MAKE THE MOST OF THE TIME YOU ARE IN CLASS!!!
