CERTIFICATION EXAMS
OVERVIEW
The certification exams are provided by Certiport at a cost of $75 for each test, and are taken at your local school. There is a scholarship opportunity (Klein Forest only) provided through the Bridging For Tomorrow program that can help pay for all or part of the exam. You can access this scholarship by filling out THIS APPLICATION and turning it in by January 20th.
TEST TAKING TIPS
The test will have some questions that use a simulation of the software interface. On these question it is often difficult and frustrating trying to determining exactly how to do what the tester wants you to do. Sometimes they want you to use Menus, Trays, Buttons, Mouse-click, or Keyboard Shortcuts. And often many options are not usable. You will need to be familiar with each of these ways of performing functions and during the test you may need to try each one to see which they want you to use.
